About

About ACF

We accept the slogan created by Muhammad Yunus, the Bangladeshi economist, that “Poverty is Unnecessary.” The mission of Adani Care Foundation is (a) to create public awareness of the abject poverty that ravages the rural communities of Nigeria, and (b) to help reduce the impact of that poverty by helping to lift members of the community above the poverty line.

How do we create awareness of the existence of the abject poverty in the rural community? Through digital advocacy, word of mouth, social programs, and in-person village gatherings that connect the hearts of the community.

In other words, our goal is to assist in providing food, medical care for the needy, both children and adults, and, as needed, education (primary, secondary & university), as well as technical / vocational training in skills.

Our Mission

Our Mission

Our goal is to assist in providing medical assistance for the needy, both children and adults. We will assist in providing, as needed, basic education (primary, secondary & university), as well as technical/vocational training in skills to prepare the youth for gainful employment. This includes such skills as computer servicing, automobile mechanics, tailoring and fashion design, cabinet making, printing, building construction, road construction, plumbing, electrical wiring, etc. We will also organize awareness campaigns, through programs, seminars and workshops, against gender-based violence and discrimination. We will promote women’s participation in governance, and raise funds in response to humanitarian crises especially during emergencies.
